Elbit America team is top corporate fundraiser for the 2022 event in Fort Worth, Texas

On Nov. 6, 2022, Elbit Systems of America’s Fort Worth-based employees participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Tarrant County’s Light The Night walk and fundraiser held in Trinity Park. The evening was filled with memorable stories and experiences, empowering ceremonies, colorful lanterns, music and a firework show.

Light The Night is designed to raise awareness, enthusiasm, and funds for LLS, which provides life-saving research and support for those battling blood cancers. The Elbit Systems of America (Elbit America) teams raised $102,600 for LLS at this year’s Light The Night walks.

“At Light The Night, it is our aim to bring light to the darkness of cancer through research and cures,” said Tarrant County Light The Night Campaign Development Manager Allison Milstead. “Light The Night is a series of fundraising campaigns benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's funding of research to find blood cancer cures. We bring hope instead of despair by working to ensure access to treatments for all blood cancer patients. We bring communities together to celebrate those who are fighting the disease and to honor those we have lost.”

Elbit America has supported LLS for more than 10 years and has served as a National Partner of Light The Night since 2008. The Elbit America Fort Worth team raised more than $45,000 this year and was named the top corporate team for fundraising at the event.
