ENHANCED FLIGHT VISION SYSTEM (EFVS)

We help keep you—and your cargo—safe. When unpredictable weather strikes, our Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) delivers the situational awareness needed to cut through fog and other degraded environments, allowing crews to see clearly and complete critical missions.

Our Combined Vision System (CVS) merges Enhanced Vision System (EVS) and Synthetic Vision System (SVS) technologies to provide a high-fidelity view of the outside world, even when visibility is near zero. It enhances runway light detection in low-visibility conditions, improving a pilot’s ability to perform both precision and non-precision approaches. This capability significantly reduces the risk of Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT) accidents and supports safer landings.

Our Enhanced Vision Systems (EVS) deliver critical visual information throughout all phases of flight, dramatically improving situational awareness and decision-making. Using state-of-the-art, fully digital cooled infrared sensor technology, EVS extends visibility through fog, rain, snow, smoke, haze—even total darkness. The system continuously adapts in real time to maintain optimal detection during taxi, takeoff, and landing in low-visibility conditions.
