Elbit America and industry leaders collaborate at Ethisphere roundtable

Nearly 30 representatives from a diverse assortment of companies met to promote ethics and compliance, and discuss best practices in Fort Worth, Texas

Jan. 14, 2025

Elbit America proudly hosted a Business Ethics Leadership Alliance (BELA) Roundtable at its headquarters in late 2024, drawing representatives from some of the world’s most recognized companies.

Sponsored by Ethisphere, BELA is a prestigious community of more than 370 companies across diverse industries that share expertise and best practices in ethics, compliance, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) guidance. Hosting this event was an honor for Elbit America and a reflection of the company’s commitment as a leader in ethical business practices.

The roundtable drew more than two dozen representatives from major corporations in a variety of sectors – from large automotive powerhouses to healthcare, telecommunications, and energy companies. These global and national leaders joined the Elbit America team for collaborative discussions aimed at promoting ethics and compliance programs across industries.

“It was inspiring to share the room with organizations renowned for their ethical leadership and innovation,” said Ben Gaffield, Elbit America Vice President of Assurance, Compliance & Ethics. “Hosting this event allowed us to not only showcase Elbit America’s own ethics and compliance program but also learn from the approaches taken by [others].”

The event was loaded with interactive discussions on navigating the evolving ESG landscape, holistic ethics and compliance training and communications programs, and driving engagement among respective workforces to embrace compliance initiatives.

Kevin McCormack, Executive Vice President & Executive Director of BELA at Ethisphere, said, “The BELA community has a deep bench of leadership across every industry. Throughout the year these unique assemblies enable timely discussions, enriched by the willingness of E&C leaders to share knowledge, challenges, and benchmark practices with one another. We are grateful to our BELA member companies like Elbit Systems of America that step forward, offer a unique environment for collaboration, and represent an influential voice on progressing integrity programs. It is one of many ways BELA continues to thrive.”

Reflecting on the event, DeAnna Schuler, Senior Manager of Ethics and Compliance at Elbit America, said, “After exchanging best practices with ethics leaders from some of the most respected organizations in the world, I was energized by the opportunities we have to strengthen our programs and continue to lead in this area.”
