In 2022, Elbit America broke ground on its North Charleston, S.C., Ground Combat Vehicle Assembly and Integration Center of Excellence. The company took possession of the building in early 2023, and will help an official ribbon cutting on May 8, 2023. Initially, the 135,000-square-foot facility will support work on the self-propelled howitzer system for the Israeli Ministry of Defense ROEM program. As the site grows, Elbit America will add additional assembly and integration capabilities supporting Defense and Homeland Security customers.
