Ben Kohr
Ben Kohr joined Elbit Systems of America in 2021 as Deputy General Counsel and was named Senior Vice President and General Counsel in 2024. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s legal, contracts, security, and compliance functions.
Prior to joining Elbit America, Ben was the General Counsel for Future Vertical Lift Programs at Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company. Previous to this role, Ben held several roles of increasing responsibility at Sikorsky, including General Counsel for Army & Air Force Programs and Associate General Counsel for Sikorsky’s sustainment business, Sikorsky Support Services, Inc. (SSSI).
Prior to joining Sikorsky, Ben practiced as an attorney in Wiley Rein LLP’s Government Contracts practice in Washington, D.C. Before Wiley Rein, Ben held roles as Legal Assistant/Clerk for the Honorable Margaret Ryan on the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (USCAAF) and on the staff of the Committee on Armed Services in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ben earned his Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Emory University.
